About Me
I am Dr. Sumayya A. Al-Mansur, a dedicated global health and public health professional with extensive experience in clinical practice, research, and strengthening health systems across Africa and beyond. My journey has been fueled by a passion for health equity, health literacy, and building resilient systems that serve underserved communities effectively.
I am also deeply invested in research and capacity building. As a Research Coordinator for the Health Impact Hub, I established platforms for young researchers and provided mentorship in data analysis and ethical use of AI tools. My publications in international journals reflect my commitment to advancing knowledge in global health, health systems, and health equity.
Beyond my professional roles, I am passionate about empowering communities through health education and leadership. I have mentored numerous young professionals, served as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Maryland, and delivered health literacy initiatives to improve access and understanding among underserved populations.
